Joel is a 12 year child and youngest in the family of three children. He is an active child bubbling with energy.He always had a broad smile on his face and every body called him 'LAUGHING DOLL'.His whole interest is to dance, sing, and play apart from his studies.Being the youngest in the family, he is pampered and loved by all.Suddenly he fell sick and to his parents it's like a' bolt from the blue when the doctors told them he has Leukaemia(blood cancer).
when admitted in the hospital,he realised his situation. He is very intelligent -through the nurses he learnt about his condition with out the knowledge of his parents and never showed any signs of worry in front of them. He wanted to keep them happy.He used to visit the other patients in the ward and encouraged them not to worry sharing with them -how many times he had Chemotherapy and pokes in the spine and nothing had happened-whenever they were crying out of fear of the treatment. This he did with not only of his age kids but also with elderly people of his father's age and with army men and Commandos who came there for treatment.
